Derived from Japanese, Furoshiki describes a squared wrapping cloth which is used as an alternative to common packaging materials to wrap presents. It is also used as a wrap for the popular bento box (single-portion take-out or home-packed meal) in asian countries, as it makes the box easy to carry.

Fair Zone and Rice & Carry manufacture Furoshiki from sorted out left over Sari fabrics in Sri Lanka. 

Each furoshiki is made by at least two different fabrics sewn agains each other to create beautiful and original products. Only sari fabrics with good quality are used, therefore the cloths can be machined washed at 30°C and are particularly long lasting. 

Dimensions: 110 x 110 cm

Every product is made from a different sari, therefore pictures are representative of the products and every furoshiki is absolutely unique, with different colors and patterns!
